Enea

Enea is a herbaceous plant with a tall, cylindrical stem, long, narrow, evergreen leaves arranged in two rows along the stem, flowers grouped in dense, cylindrical spikes, and a dark brown fruit.

Throughout history, it has been widely used in the design and manufacture of various decorative and household furniture items, such as chairs, tables, and shelves.

There is no doubt that the use of natural resources in the construction and decoration of homes has always been essential. Enea symbolises the integration of natural elements into the interior of the home.

General Features

The Enea model from Atlántida HOMES is the result of our clients’ growing interest in homes of around 350m2. This residence has been designed to meet the increasingly demanding needs of modern 21st century lifestyles, where the home has become the centre of daily life, serving as a space for work, study, leisure, rest, exercise, social interaction and family life.

At Atlántida HOMES we have designed a two-storey house with four spacious bedrooms, a games room, an office, a large living-dining area, a kitchen and a laundry room. Everything has been thoughtfully designed to meet the diverse needs of today’s society.

Layout

If there is one thing that all today’s clients want, it is open spaces, maximum use of natural light and the creation of efficient, eco-friendly homes with energy consumption under control.

The first thing we find when entering Enea is a spacious 16.50m2 hall with double-height ceilings leading to the first floor. A monumental yet light designer staircase serves as the main decorative and architectural focal point of the house.

Beyond the staircase, the kitchen is open to the foyer while maintaining sufficient independence and offering direct access to the lounge-dining area. This layout creates connected yet distinct spaces, enhancing the sense of openness while ensuring privacy in all living areas.

On the left wing, the daytime living area includes the lounge/diner and an independent office, all with direct access to the porch and cross-ventilation for optimum indoor air quality.

On the right wing, the service area or guest quarters includes a bedroom, bathroom and laundry room, seamlessly connected to the main entrance of the home for convenience.

The upper floor includes three bedrooms, all facing the rear of the house to maximize natural light and ensure energy-efficient climate control.

Adjacent to these bedrooms, the game room provides a separate, independent space tailored to meet the household’s needs.
