Duna
A Germanic word (dūno) that passed into Dutch (duin) is the etymological ancestor of dune. This term is used to refer to a hill formed by sand that is displaced and accumulates due to the action of the wind.
Its appearance varies according to the direction of the wind. These hills are created when the wind blows strongly and causes the sand to gather in a certain place.
The wind causes the dunes to move. Smaller dunes move faster than larger dunes until they catch up and merge. Wind can also cause smaller dunes to break off from a dune of significant size.
General features
In the Duna 3-bedroom model, the main room is the living-dining area, which serves as the core of the house around which the other rooms are organized. In terms of volume, it is the tallest space so that its importance is emphasized on the exterior compared to the rest of the house.
Layout
The entrance to the house is accessed through a space covered by a pergola, which provides continuity between the interior and exterior through a skylight that illuminates the entrance.
The kitchen is located next to the dining area and offers the flexibility of being configured without a door, extending the dining space, or being enclosed with a sliding door that, when closed, completely separates it and, when open, integrates it with the dining area. Its layout allows for ample storage capacity, featuring a floor-to-ceiling cabinet section that includes a refrigerator, oven, and microwave, as well as a spacious L-shaped countertop. The kitchen comes fully furnished, including the countertop, sink, and faucet, and is equipped with an induction cooktop, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine (in the laundry area), refrigerator, and extractor hood. You can customize it to your liking using our configurator.
The three bedrooms are arranged around a small hallway directly connected to the living room, but a sliding door allows the bedroom area to be separated from the living-dining space. In the Duna 3-bedroom model, all bedrooms include built-in wardrobes with interior finishes, featuring a luggage shelf and a hanging rail. All doors in the house are filled with expanded polyurethane to ensure better sound insulation. You can choose the finish of doors and wardrobes between lacquered white or oak and beech wood veneers. The bedroom windows extend from floor to ceiling and have motorized blinds. The master bedroom is en-suite, including a walk-in closet and a bathroom with a double sink.
The bathrooms come fully equipped with sanitary fixtures, a vanity unit, faucets (thermostatic in both bathtub and shower), a mirror, and a lighting fixture above the sink. You can choose from a variety of flooring and tiling options in our configurator, as well as decide between a bathtub or shower and different styles of sanitary fixtures. All bathrooms have a window, allowing for natural light and ventilation. The main bathroom also includes a bidet.
The entire house features radiant floor heating and cooling. You can select the energy production system between aerothermal and geothermal solutions, or, if you have a gas connection, you can install a condensing boiler for hot water and heating. All equipment will be installed in the laundry area, which remains ventilated with a lattice to ensure the optimal performance of all units.
You can choose the Duna model in 2, 3, and 4-bedroom configurations. Or, if you like its layout but are looking for a house with a more rustic, sloped roof design, check out our Arena model. Plus, don’t forget that all our models are available in any of their symmetrical versions.
