Mineral, of the variety chalcedony, a rock known as calcareous onyx, onyx, or marble onyx, which originates from accumulated volcanic gases. In some areas it is a semi-precious stone.

Its use dates back to antiquity, its origin being told in Greek mythology, as this mineral would have resulted from the transformation of a fingernail of Aphrodite, goddess of love, cut by Eros, her son, and thrown into the water, where it was turned into stone to immortalise her.

Artistic productions made of onyx have been found on the island of Crete. Magical properties were attributed to it.

General Features

The ONICE modular house has two floors and is available with two styles of façade.The ground floor has an ‘H’ shape. On the other hand, at the ends, large windows open up, or large panels are covered with fixed or mobile lattices, thereby creating a greater emphasis on openness, where the hollow becomes more significant than the solid.

You have the option of configuring the materials of the two types of façade, as well as selecting aluminium or wooden lattice on the shorter sides, for protection against the sun or for security purposes.

Layout

From the entrance area, there is a hallway that leads to the living and dining room. The dining room is separated from the living room and open to the kitchen.

One option available to you would be to install a fireplace in the living room, creating a dividing piece of furniture between this room and the dining room.

The day area houses the living-dining room, the kitchen and the utility room. The dining room features a large window overlooking the side garden, and the lounge area has a complete floor-to-ceiling glazed front with access to the rear garden.
